Breakfast @ Thyme

Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7.45 – 9.30 am daily.  (Earlier service available on request).  We cater for any special dietary requirements.

Breakfast is prepared freshly to order so that you can choose exactly what you would like.  We offer a variety of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yogurts as well as cooked options.

If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.  We can cater for needs on request.

Our typical menu would include

Cereal selection
Oats Porridge

Fresh fruit, typical selection:
strawberries, raspberries, melon, pineapple, blackberries, blueberries

Fresh juice of the day

Selection of yogurts & Pro-biotics

Croissants

Followed by:

Loaded breakfast:  2 Sausages, 2 rashers bacon, 2 Eggs, Baked Beans, Tomato

Half portion Loaded Breakfast – 1 of each

Vegetarian breakfast – Ingredients of your choice on request

Classic salmon bagel: Scottish smoked salmon & cream cheese with scrambled eggs

Toasted Muffin or Bagel  with cheese or egg or bacon or salmon

Eggs cooked to your liking, please ask us for boiled, fried, poached or scrambled

Daily special – time permitting we may have a daily special for breakfast.  Please check the notice board or ask when ordering?

Sometimes a full English can be a little too filling so please feel free to pick and mix from the menu above and let us know if you would prefer a smaller option.

Packed Lunches 

Packed lunches or a Family Picnic Box can be pre-ordered.  (Prices vary)  Please let us know should you wish to place an order.

Dinner

Evening meals are available from a set menu.  We ask that you pre-book dinner at the hotel.  We are very flexible and happy to cater to special requests.  Please let us know your dietary preference in advance. 

Bar

Gin & tonic at the bar anyone?

After a long day exploring, walking, cycling or visiting the local amenities what better way to relax than with a refreshing drink at the bar!  The bar area is open from 11.00 noon for Coffee (and possibly cake)  Drinks are served in the evenings pre and post dinner.
